Important Notice
This page and our guidelines are subject to change anytime, so please review our page before working on something relating to our projects, characters, and assets. Free Projects and Mods
Free projects, such as StepMania themes, are available free of charge with the ability to modify anything that comes with it. Depending on the project, some copyrighted assets, from video games for example, are included. Original assets, such as original characters, can also show up as well. Regardless of what's included in the project; these free projects are not for commercial use. In short, you cannot make money off of the project because it not only contains copyrighted content such as sounds or music, but also contains assets originated from Team Sushi Presentations. If our free projects are being used in public arcade cabinets, for example, we will take our project down. We cannot risk having a project up if people use it for malicious intent.
When making mods for Team Sushi Presentations free projects, you must credit us for using our project as a base. You cannot, however, claim Team Sushi Presentations' original assets as your own. This includes characters and artwork, whoever makes the artwork for said character will issue a takedown request if the assets are used for propaganda, slander, or anything that violates their terms of service.
The easy way to say this is: Do not make money off of our free and open source projects. Do not violate an artist's ToS.

Original Characters
Original characters are all copyrighted by Team Sushi Presentations. The following characters are properties of Team Sushi Presentations, more characters will be added in the future when new projects are announced. Some characters may have special pages if they have a lot of artwork or information. We have created categories for characters who are recently added versus characters who have been retired*.
(*Retired does not mean we no longer own the character, it simply means the character does not appear in any new projects or is an older character.)

You can...
- Create fan made artwork, stories, or games of the listed characters, but you must give credit to Team Sushi Presentations when sharing anything related to them.
- Use official illustrations from the artists for mods of our projects. However, the original artwork must remain intact (in its original state).
- Make profit using these characters without consent from Team Sushi Presentations directly. You must get permission from us, whether we approve or deny the request.
- Claim these characters as your own when using them in games, stories, artwork, or ANY kind of project.
- Use official illustrations from the artists for ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF A TEAM SUSHI PRESENTATIONS PROJECT. If you plan on using any of our characters for your project, please make your own assets.
- Contact the original illustrators for any kind of project (this includes mods). If you're making a mod of our project, you can't contact the character illustrator to make new artwork or anything for your mod. This is not allowed unless this is an official collaboration between you and Team Sushi Presentations.
